Are Better Whey of Life products regulated by the FDA?
Yes! Since our yogurt is categorized as a dairy product, the processing facility in which it is produced is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration.

The Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Health Organization define probiotics as live micro-organisms that, when consumed in sufficient amounts, provide health benefits beyond basic nutrition. The probiotics in our yogurts help regulate digestion.
What are the benefits of eating yogurt while taking antibiotics?
Antibiotics destroy disease-causing bacteria and beneficial bacteria, leading to intestinal upset or weakened immunity. Experts often recommend the consumption of yogurt to those taking antibiotics to restore the good bacteria.
Can I eat Better Whey of Life if I'm lactose intolerant?
Lactose intolerance varies among individuals. Many people who are lactose intolerant can eat yogurt and our yogurts have 30% less lactose than most other yogurts. Additionally, the probiotic cultures in yogurt break down lactose. This can sometimes be enough to prevent symptoms of lactose intolerance, but it is best to consult your doctor.
How much lactose is in Better Whey of Life Yogurt?
At its highest, Better Whey of Life Yogurt less than 4% lactose. This amount is low and should be tolerated by most people with the exception of those with extreme lactose intolerance. Additionally, the amount of lactose goes down over time. When Better Whey of Life yogurts are first made, they contain 4g of lactose.
What type of milk is used to create Better Whey of Life yogurt?
Lowfat milk with no added growth hormones.
Is Better Whey of Life yogurt appropriate for the vegan diet?
No, Better Whey of Life is not vegan, but is vegetarian friendly.

The FDA currently requires a certification for a "Gluten Free" claim. We are not currently "certified". However, we do not contain gluten in our products.

No. However, Better Whey of Life Yogurt is made with nonfat milk that has no added growth hormones.
